Charlotte | Cake Smash Session

Charlie (Charlotte) is the daughter of a very good friend of mine, Ruby. She and I went to high school together. Although we didn't know each other very well back then, we reconnected earlier this year and have become close friends. It is a blessing that our children get to grow up together :)

Ruby has been so supportive of my love for photography and wanted me to do her daughter's cake smash session. I jumped on the opportunity, I knew we would have so much fun planning this set up!

We both did our share of Pinterest research, we noticed that their was a lack in fiesta themed cake smashes. We took this opportunity to create something unique, that would set itself apart.

15 handmade paper flowers, a handmade bunting banner, and authentic Mexican trinkets and decorations that Ruby personally went to Mexico to buy for her daughter's fiesta themed session and birthday party. Everything was carefully thought out and we are both mesmerized by the result.
